How do I put this in words people would understand... Toph and Sokka being together would form a plot hole? Get it? Lin can't be related to Tenzin what-so-ever if they were ever a pair. Even if it meant "step-cousins" they couldn't have dated. It'd have been way too weird and against the censorship rules AND just plain wrong.

This was commissioned to me based on a fanfiction project, this idea is not canon. In his fanfiction, Sokka is not Lin's father. People love this pairing despite of that "plot hole" and it's not really stopping them to continue love this pairing, and there's nothing plain wrong with that

In the current plans for 'Esteemed' the story project this art was made for, yes, that is actually the idea.
But there is no canonical confirmation of that, though as Tissine has said, it's become a reasonable idea for many Tokka shippers, mainly because the identity of Lin's dad is unknown right now.
